Who
is Miss Sample?
I am from Tampa, Florida
and I received my Bachelor of Arts degree
from Mercer University
in Macon, Georgia. During my 4
years at
Mercer, I played NCAA Division I Volleyball and majored in English.
Upon graduating, I
attended Auburn University where I received my
Master of
Education with a specialization in School Counseling. During my 2
years
at Auburn, I was
a member of the National Counseling Honor Society (Chi Sigma Iota) and
I also became
a Nationally Board Certified Counselor. Before coming to LSA, I
worked at a very large public school (2100+ students) in
Lithia, FL
where I was one of 4 counselors. I then happily moved back to
Auburn and started at LSA in 2007.
My goal is to be an advocate for all students in all
capacities. As a counselor, I am here to
encourage and develop the students of
Lee-Scott in regards to academics, career choices and personal/social
aspects of life. My door will
always
be open to students who would like to seek individual counseling.
I hope to educate students about the importance of
academics and school
involvement throughout their high school years and beyond.
I will aid all students in the transition
process from high school to college by making information, such as
scholarships
and financial aid, readily accessible though this website or the
counselor’s
office.
Please feel free to contact me if you have
any questions or concerns. I am very excited to be back in
Auburn! I consider myself so blessed to have the opportunity to
be part of a World Class School! GO WARRIORS!!!

My chocolate labrador retriever, Taylor.
