Standardized Testing

Standardized testing is a vital part of student success. Lee-Scott students in grades 1-8 will complete the Stanford Achievement Test in the spring. Students in grades 8 and 9 will complete the EXPLORE test (predictor test for the ACT) in the fall. Students in grade 10 will complete the PLAN test (predictor test for the ACT) and the PSAT (predictor test for the SAT) in the fall. Students in grade 11 will complete the PSAT (predictor test for the SAT) in the fall.

Results of the EXPLORE, PLAN, and PSAT will be distributed in February to parents/guardians at an evening meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for parents/guardians to understand their students' score report and successfully interpret the data.
