Course Description
Lee-Scott Academy
The Course
This course is designed to enable the student to develop novice-low to
novice-mid level proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and
listening in French. Students will acquire a knowledge of the basic
elements of French grammar, including the use of subject and object
pronouns, adjectives, and verbs in the present tense. The student will
be introduced to French culture and the many francophone countries that
exist. Audio and video materials are used for practice and
reinforcement. Students should be prepared to practice their use
of language in class through communicative activities.
