Athletics

Lee-Scott's athletic program is comprised of 27 separate teams in 10 different sports- Football, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Golf, Track (including Cross Country), and Soccer - competing as a 3A school in the Alabama Independent School Association.

Our athletic program addresses our mission statement by "...promoting the development of the total person" and providing "...opportunities to participate in programs that encourage student success."

Since 2002, LSA Athletic teams have won 49 State Championships at both the Junior Varsity and Varsity levels as well as numerous region, area, and tournament championships.

LSA's Athletic Staff is made up of committed individuals who have a demonstrated personal history of success with young people. Our athletic director and coaches have a combined 200+ years of coaching experience  with various schools (public and private) and athletes at the high school, collegiate and professional levels.

Lee-Scott has been the recipient of the AISA Chairman's Award 3 of the last 4 years - 2009, 2011 and 2012. LSA was runner-up for this honor in 2010.  This award recognizes the top 3A athletic school in the State by measuring athletic participation, team success, individual player success, scholarships received, and overall efficiency of your athletic program.
