Parent Teacher Organization
Every parent is automatically a member of the Lee-Scott Academy’s Parent-Teacher Organization.
It is our goal to provide parents with many diverse opportunities to get involved, make new friends and support their child’s overall experience at LSA.
The PTO sponsors a variety of events each year . . .
PTO Fall Fundraiser . . .
This year’s fundraiser is our Fall Festival which will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18th from 3-7pm. The money raised allows the PTO to sponsor the events below.
For our new families . . .
A welcome tailgate at our first home football game on Friday, August 24th. Each new family will be receiving more information about this event.
For the LSA Staff . . .
Back to school luncheon- The PTO Board will welcome back the LSA staff with a luncheon the day before school begins.
Stipends-The PTO give our teachers Fall and Spring stipends to help with classroom supplies and teaching materials throughout the year. This year we will also be giving all of our new hires a stipend to help them start-up their classroom.
Teacher Appreciation Week- This week-long event is held the week of February 25th. Volunteers help show our staff how much we appreciate the work they do with our children.
School Support . . .
Every August we provide each family a Willingness to Serve Form which details the many volunteer opportunities available at LSA.
Parents interested in volunteering throughout the year, please download the Willingness to Serve Form, complete and return to your child's homeroom teacher.
