Secondary students successfully completing an AP course with a semester average of 85+ receive an additional 10 points to their semester average for that specific course. The Valedictorian and Salutatorian are determined by academic average (numeric average of all academic courses taken at LSA in grades 9-12, including English, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Foreign Language.
