Lee-Scott Academy received the Alabama Independent School Association’s President’s Award for the
2017- 2018 school year. This is the third year in a row LSA has been presented with this award. Dr. Stan Cox, Head of School, received the award today at the AISA annual meeting.
The President’s Award was established by the AISA to recognize member schools that achieve academic excellence during the schoolyear. It is awarded to only one school per academic classification, with classifications based on student enrollment.
The criteria for winning the AISA President’s Award include achievement in all areas of school excellence: academic achievement, professional development, extracurricular involvement, school improvement and other activities that celebrate excellence in education. The award also serves to recognize the individuals who have given their time to serve as president to the Alabama Independent School Association.
Thank you to our faculty, staff, and students for your commitment to excellence!
