New Faculty Spotlight: Mae Margaret Davis, Upper School Math
Mae Margaret joins Lee-Scott Academy after spending the first several years of her career outside the classroom. Mae Margaret earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and then her Master of Business Administration, both from Auburn University, and most recently served as the Office Supervisor for the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the university.
Mae Margaret has a passion for working with students and youth, having served for many years as a youth leader and camp counselor through her church, and she has recently been working with students in the Auburn-Opelika area as a private math tutor. Having been influenced by a wonderful group of teachers of her own growing up, Mae Margaret is excited to be pursuing a long-time dream of becoming an educator, and she is eager to help her students grow both academically and personally.
In her spare time, Mae Margaret enjoys watching just about any sport, spending time with her fur-kids, Barkley and Bailey, or catching up on the latest true-crime TV series or podcast.
