New Faculty Spotlight: Mrs. Kandy Miller, 2nd Grade
Kandy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University and her Master’s Degree from Troy State University. She has several years of teaching experience having taught Kindergarten, 3rd, and 4th grades, but has worked with children in grades PK – 6th grade throughout her career.
Kandy is married to Matthew Miller and together they have four fantastic daughters: Ashley (25), Emily (21), Elizabeth (21), and AJ (19). In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, family and friends, and reading.
Having been blessed to grow up in a strong Christian family where the Lord was a central part of their lives, she is thankful for the opportunities God has given her to serve through her teaching career, at church, as a wife, a mother, and a friend. Her family attends Union Christian Church in Little Texas where she has served as the church secretary for the last three years.
Kandy is overjoyed and humbled to be able to share the love of Christ with her future students at Lee-Scott Academy. Her goal as a teacher is to love, encourage, and make a positive difference in the lives of all the children she teaches.
Welcome, Mrs. Miller!
