Secondary Choral Program
Lee -Scott Academy's secondary choral program is comprised of two performance groups: one is our Jr. High Choir of 7th and 8th grade students and the second is comprised of 9th through 12th graders who also perform classic choral literature, worship music, and show choir tunes.
Both choirs participate in fall and spring shows as well as school assemblies throughout the year. The Opelika Victorian Front Porch Tour is a welcomed addition to our performance schedule during the Christmas season.
The Dessert Theater has been a high- light that we have enjoyed as we partner with our awesome LSA Jazz Band. Both choirs combine to sing and dance to some of our favorite tunes. We also enjoy participating in Honor Choirs hosted by Auburn University and our own AISA Association.
We also make serving our community and surrounding areas a big part of our focus as we participate in LSA Serve Day and Maximum Impact in Atlanta each year. These opportunities allow our students an outlet to experience the needs of others and share their gifts and talents with those around us.
A new addition to the choral program is our Student- Led Worship Team. This year a group of outstanding seniors have taken on the role of leading their peers in Worship at school assemblies and representing LSA in our community.
We are blessed with amazing vocalists, musicians, and performers who continue to take the secondary choral program to the next level.
