For 3rd-5th Grade Girls, Sponsored by Mrs. Streetman
A book study of For Girls Like You: God’s Brave Girl Younger Girls Study Journey: A Courageous Journey of Faith by Lifeway Kids. Through this journey of God’s Brave Girl, students will experience what it means to live a life of bravery because of who God made you to be. God wants girls just like you to live confidently by faith, trusting God’s plan for your life.
Current members will be given a priority and then new members will be able to join the group through a sign up. There are 10 members total in this Bible study. Member cost will be $45 for the new books, journals, pens and club t-shirt. This club will meet Thursdays after school until 4:00pm. The first meeting is tentatively scheduled for October 9th.
For 3rd-6th Grade Students; Sponsored by Mrs. Drake
Students will learn and play board games, including classics and newer games that focus on cooperative play, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills. It will be an hour of fun face-to-face interaction with friends! Price is $30 with a maximum of 16 students.
For 3rd-5th Grade Students, Sponsored by Mrs. Beard & Mrs. Parrish
Each class will start with a devotional. Students will learn how to paint with watercolors using the watercolor workbooks by Emily Lex. We will meet Thursdays from 2:45-4:00pm a total of four times in the fall, in the Lower School art room. Students will be picked up at the carline at 4:00pm.

This club will consist of a short Bible study and LEGO building experience. Students will get to keep their set of LEGOs at the end of the club. Dates to meet are as follows: February 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th. The cost is $30, or $50 to include the club t-shirt. There is a limit of 10 participants total.
For Kindergarten Students, Sponsored by Mrs. Ennis, Mrs. Richards, Mrs. Sanders
Students will build and construct through creative play, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. Teachers will incorporate a Bible verse into lessons so we strengthen our faith while we learn to work together and have fun. The total cost is $35 with a limit of 10 students. Meeting dates will be February 2nd, 9th and 23rd at 7:00am
For 6th Grade Girls, Sponsored by Mrs. Murphy
Confident in Christ is a Bible study for 6th Grade girls, focusing on the book Confident in Christ: Gospel Meditations on Identity for Teens. This group will meet once a week on Thursday afternoons from 3:00 -4:00pm. Each session will include a devotional with Scripture, questions for reflection and discussion, and a time for prayer. The hope is to have 10-15 girls in this group so they can dive deeper into God’s Word with these girls and help them discover their identity in God’s truth. Total cost is $35, including a club t-shirt, devotional book, pens, and snacks.
For 5th-6th Grade Students, Sponsored by Mrs. Fligel
Members will learn how to use their voice, body, and imagination to bring characters to life. We’ll practice working together as a cast, building confidence on stage, and sharing the story of the birth of Jesus at the Grandparents Day programs in December! Rehearsals will be on Wednesdays during October. Rehearsals will be on Mondays and Wednesdays during November and December.

GiGi (“Girls in God’s Image”) will meet weekly and have a time of devotion, prayer, activity, and a snack. The club will meet on February 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th with a limit of 12 girls. The total cost will $45, including a t-shirt!
For 5th & 6th Grade Girls, Sponsored by Mrs. Redden
Over four sessions, girls will spend time learning God’s Word together, talking about what it means in our everyday lives, and creating beautiful tassels to decorate our Bibles and book bags. Each tassel will remind us of the truth we studied that day – a colorful way to carry God’s Word with us wherever we go. Girls will leave each session with a craft they made, a verse to hold onto, and a heart encouraged by friends and faith. The group will meet on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:00pm, on October 7th, 21st, 28th and November 4th. Spaces are limited to 20 girls with the total cost being $60 (includes club t-shirt).

Get ready to sing, smile, and shine! Joyful Noise is our fun and energetic after-school choir just for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Grade students, meeting every Wednesday this fall! Whether your child loves to sing loud or just hum along, this is the perfect place to build confidence, make friends, and discover the joy of music all while praising God with a joyful noise!
Our focus this semester will be teaching The Friendly Beasts. This offers our students a rich opportunity to blend music, storytelling, faith, and character education in a way that’s deeply engaging for young children. The Friendly Beasts tells the Christmas story from the perspective of the animals in the stable: an imaginative and accessible way for children to understand the birth of Jesus. It makes the Nativity approachable and engaging, especially for young learners who connect easily with animals.
Rehearsals will take place every Wednesday, from 3:00-4;00pm, on October 22nd & 29th, November 5th, 12th & 19th, and December 3rd. The date of the final performance is to be announced Spaces are limited to 25 with a total cost, including a club t-shirt, of $50.

KICKS (Kids Involved in Community Kindness and Service) Leadership’s main objective is to become the hands of feet of Christ within our school and our community. Members are divided into action subcommittees working with volunteer organizations. Each student will participate in WLSA, our Lower School morning news broadcast, and learn the importance of speaking loudly, clearly and slowly in front of audiences. Students will learn valuable interviewing skills as well. The club will meet on designated Thursday mornings at 7:10am with the meeting being October 9th. The cost for supplies and a club t-shirt is $50. There is a limit of 20 participants.
For 3rd – 4th Grade Students, Sponsored by Mrs. Jones
Students will be using the LEGO Boost toolbox to learn the basics of coding, engineering, and robotics. They will be able to choose one of the five models available in the set to build, and make it come to life using an app. Students will use icon-based coding and complete activities that are designed for each model. They will learn about coding and improving problem solving skills. The club will meet Tuesdays after school until 3:45pm from October 21st – November 18th* (November 11th is a school holiday) . The limit is 12 students and the price is $30 for supplies and a club t-shirt.

The Lee-Scott Academy 4th Grade teacheres will host a baking club to help foster a love for baking. Participants will learn the fundamentals of baking. There will be a limit of 10 participants and the cost is $70 for supplies and a club t-shirt.

This is a beginner baton club aimed at beginning skills and fostering a desire to learn baton. Club Meeting Dates will be February 9th, 16th, 23rd and March 2nd (all Mondays) from 3:00-4:15pm. A parent showcase performance will be held on the last class. The cost will not exceed $120, but is dependant on the amount of participants. The cost will include a club t-shirt.

In Warrior CARE (Christians Acknowledging Resources through Education) Club, students will make Valentine cards to show kindness and help spread the love of Jesus. In conjunction with LSA’s “Be Kind” Week, we will be discussing and sharing different ways to show God’s love in our school and around the community. The limit of participants will be 12 with a cost of $20.00 for a club t-shirt. Students will meet at 7:30am each day from February 10th-12th.
