The Lee-Scott Annual Fund
Dear Lee-Scott Families,
Happy New Year! As we welcome the second half of our school year and continue our commitment to protect, nurture and challenge each student, we ask for your support to enhance the LSA experience. Building and sustaining a successful educational program in an independent school setting requires support and commitment from all members of the school family—from the Head of School, Board of Trustees, faculty, and staff, to students, their families, alumni, and friends.
The Lee-Scott Academy Annual Fund raises unrestricted gifts to support the annual operating budget. As is the “norm” for most independent schools, tuition does not cover the full cost of educating each student. Tuition alone covers 92% of the school’s operating income with the remaining 8% through tax-deductible charitable giving. It takes a combination of tuition and annual fund donations to provide the distinctive qualities that a Lee-Scott Academy education offers.

We have so many exciting plans that involve all school levels, our students and our families!
Our goal this year is for 100% participation from our families in reaching our budgeted goal of $800,000. Your participation is critical and reflects your commitment to all that happens here – for every student.
A gift of any amount is appreciated and counts towards the important participation measurements. Each family is asked to prayerfully consider giving a meaningful gift, at whatever level that may be for you.

This week will be the kickoff to the 2024-2025 Lee-Scott Annual Fund Campaign, you will receive information outlining the details of the annual fund, along with information on how you may give. If you are prepared to give at this time, you may do so by sending a check to the school or by giving online below.

How to Give
Each gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. Your participation is a valuable sign of your belief in our mission and a signal of your pride in the Lee-Scott experience.
Gifts are accepted through the end of the fiscal year on June 30, but we encourage families to make their gift or pledge by December 31. All donations to The Lee-Scott Annual Fund are fully tax-deductible.
