Progress on the baseball field is going perfectly. The outfield has been re-graded, trenches have been dug and drains are ready to be installed. We are looking forward to having the best ball field in the AISA!!

We are excited to welcome Wendy Bass as a second grade teacher at Lee-Scott Academy! Wendy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University. She has 29 years teaching experience in both private and public education. Wendy has taught 2nd - 6th grade throughout her career, 2nd grade being her very favorite!Wendy has been married to Mark Bass, a 1983 Lee-Scott graduate. Together they have three amazing sons: McKinley (27) who is married to Emily and father to John Asher is a Hoover firefighter, Mason (23) who works for Eagle Electric, and Madden (19) who is on scholarship at SUSCC. She attends Airview Baptist Church in Opelika, where she met her husband over 30 years ago. Through the years she has taught children’s Sunday School and chaperoned many youth events and mission trips. She looks forward to sharing her faith and Christian values with her students. Wendy is thrilled and humbled to begin her new chapter at Lee-Scott Academy! She strives to make a difference in the lives of her students through loving and encouraging them to always be their best!
