Lee Scott Varsity and JV Dance Teams attended UDA Dance Camp at home this week. The team was awarded three blue ribbons for their Pom and Hip Hop routines. They received the Superior Award and received a bid to UDA Nationals. Lilli Scott Parker was named Drill Queen. The team had six team members named All American- Abby Grace Turner, Lexi Robinson, Mary Brentley Moore, Lilli Scott Parker, Ella Sheppard, and Brennan Walls. ![]()

This morning, we welcomed our new upper school students for the 2024-2025 school year, introducing them to each other and to the campus. Our ambassadors were on hand to provide essential information and answer any questions to ensure a smooth transition. We’re thrilled to have such a fantastic group of students joining the Warrior family and wish them all the best of luck!

Mr. Carter graduated from Auburn University with Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science in 2003 and again with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Additionally, he completed his Maser of Business Administration at Auburn in 2010. Mr. Carter assumed the role of President at Carter & Carter Construction. Under his leadership, the company has achieved remarkable success earning a reputation for excellence and reliability in the sector.![]()

Mr. Carter and his wife, Casey, are already proud members of the Warrior family. All four of their children are students at LSA. Emma is a rising 10th grader, Owen is a rising 8th grader, Ansley is a rising 5th grader and Elliot is a rising 3rd grader. Casey also coaches the Warriors’ cross country team as well as assists with coaching the track team! The Carters are members at Auburn Community Church.![]()

Today at Lee-Scott Academy, our rising 7th grade students participated in a fun-filled day at camp. During camp, the students, led by our ambassadors, enjoyed getting to meet their teachers, learning more about their classmates and exploring campus. We are so excited to welcome these students to the Middle School!

Lee-Scott Academy is excited to welcome three new members to the Board of Trustees this year. Mrs. Mandy Harrelson joins the Board of Trustees while she serves as Program Champion for the Finance Department at Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business.![]()

Mrs. Harrelson graduated from Auburn University with Bachelors of Science in Mathematics in 2002 and with a Masters of Finance in 20024. Prior to joining the university in the Fall of 2016, she was an active self-employed financial advisor and has won several national award for training financial representatives. In addition to her professional career, Mrs. Harrelson has served LSA as a room mom and grade level coordinator, as well as PTO Treasurer from 2020-2024.![]()

Mrs. Harrelson and her husband, Lou, have been married for 19 years and are proud parents to Hunter, a rising 9th Grade student at LSA. Hunter has attended LSA since K4 and is active on Warrior sports teams as well as in Scholars Bowl and math competitions. The Harrelson family attends Church of the Highlands in Auburn.![]()
